Camping at Bucky's

This past weekend, my husband, son, and I went camping with my mom, dad, brother, sister, and her family. My sister lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York so we met up with them at this lovely campground in Mansfield, PA called Bucktails Camping Resort. Of course there was talk of Hurricane Joaquin hitting the east and dreary, rainy weather but we didn't let that dampen our spirits.
We had a lovely time Friday. My husband started a campfire and once my sister and her family arrived we roasted hot dogs and ate by the fire. There was no rain.
However, when we woke up on Saturday morning, it was raining. We spent most of the day in my sister's cabin. The children took a liking to their cousin and they fought over who got to hold him or feed him. It was great to see my nieces and nephews bond with my son.
Saturday afternoon, my husband and I took some of the children down to the carousel. We went on several rides together. Afterwards, we spent time at the playground. Even though it was damp and chilly we had fun. The remainder of the afternoon was spent playing Rook. My husband and niece enjoyed teaching me how to play.
Sunday morning we woke to a beautiful morning. After breakfast my parents, brother, husband, son, and I spent time at the campground. We took Sonny on his first carousel ride. He enjoyed the ride. We took him on three rides. Mommy took him on the first ride by herself, daddy joined them on the second ride, and granny and pop-pop joined on the third ride.
After lunch, we packed up our belongings, said our goodbyes, and headed out. We drove a few miles north to the PA Grand Canyon. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful view. Sonny slept through it all. A sweet lady was walking by and she offered to take our picture. It turned out very well.

At the PA Grand Canyon. What a view!!

Today, my husband, son, and I are heading out to Michigan. My husband's grandmother isn't doing well so we want to see her before she goes. Hopefully she's feeling well enough to visit and for some pictures.
