I'm trying to get settled in after a hectic weekend. Thursday and Friday were spent with family as we said goodbye to grandma. Thursday night all of Wendell's siblings stayed with us at a family friend's house... 10 adults and 22 children under one roof!! It was an exciting night.
We spent all day Friday with family before they headed to their prospective homes. We also had time to meet up with my sister and her family. They were down from NY for a different funeral and wanted to see us. It was nice to see them again.
We picked up my mom and Izzy and brought them home with us Friday night. Saturday I rode with Wendell in his truck. We delivered a load from Chambersburg to Fairless Hills. During the day, Wendell started to feel like he was getting the cold.
He spent all day Sunday resting as Sonny and I took my mom and Izzy to church.
Monday Wendell was sick but he went to work. I made sure he had hot tea in his lunch. Tuesday and Wednesday we worked on redding up the house. It's amazing how messy a house can get with an infant and a sick husband living in it...can't forget a stressed out wife. I love my life but I can do without the sick part. Sonny's been fighting a cold as well and I think he's teething again. He's been glued to my hip. I love it but it's hard to get anything done when he's fussy and wants to be held all the time. He really enjoys being outside so I take him for walks whenever I can.
Now that the holiday season is right around the corner, I know that we will be super busy. I'm looking forward to spending this time with my two loves.
